Jay Briscoe’s memory lives on, and ROH Final Battle paid tribute to the former champion.

Jay Briscoe lost his life in a car crash on January 13. He was a 13-time ROH World Tag Team Champion with Mark Briscoe, among other accolades. In the aftermath of his passing, Mark Briscoe has continued to wrestle for ROH, and he has also competed on AEW programming. At ROH Final Battle. At ROH Final Battle, Mark teamed up with FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) to battle Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Claudio Castagnoli of Blackpool Combat Club.

The two teams battled it out in a brutal match that featured forks, tables, thumbtacks, and more. By the end, most of the competitors were a bloody mess. The match nearly ended at one point, as the referee lost control of the match and called for the bell, but Mark told him to restart it as a Fight Without Honor.

Blackpool Combat Club was on the verge of victory as they trapped Wheeler in a barbed-wire-assisted LeBell Lock. In the end, Mark Briscoe hit the Jay Driller, Jay’s signature move, for the win.

After the bell, FTR and Briscoe pointed to the ceiling to honor Kay. Mark then looked into the camera and sent a message to Jay.
